Disposable entertainment that helps ease the pain of living this cruel life that we are forced to live.

"Apparently he's got a record longer than my.. ..it's ..long."
Pure enjoyment, from start to finish. -
I was going to the gym yesterday, instead I went home, had some cake and watched Ocean's eleven, it's really excellent for that purpose

Not the best heist movie out there but thanks to the great chemistry amongst the cast, this is surely an entertaining one. Clever, witty, and stylish fun.

As modern casts go this has one of the best. Steven Soderbergh directs Clooney,Pitt,Damon and co. with a nonchalance that showed just how cool remakes could be.
Heist movies can be hit or miss affairs, this one was most definitely a hit. A huge box-office take and critically acclaimed for a high concept plot with ridiculous scenarios that somehow just works, this was the first real crime-caper movie of the 21st century. Intricate and intelligent with above all a cast of genuinely likeable misfits, this spawned two sequels of diminishing quality.Cool, assured and entertaining,Soderbergh delivered a fresh take on a genre that had stagnated since the seventies. -
A film I didn't remember too fondly actually, but on a second watch I actually quite enjoyed it. I thought there was a great chemistry between the cast and it wasn't half as smug as I remembered it being. Clooney was great as Frank Ocean, Pitt and Damon too actually. Don Cheadle's accent wasn't bad but his dialogue was so bad it was funny.
The plot was quite a lot smarter than I remembered too. The heist itself is actually quite brilliant. It's just a rather exciting and fun film with lots of slick shots and dialogue that is ultimately quite entertaining.

Ocean's Eleven could be called a prime example of how to put together a nice sleek Hollywood picture in the 21th century. It just carries that trademark Soderbergh efficiency. He knows he's what you've came to see and he plans to deliver it on screen. Quality performances around the board, save for Don Cheadle but I'm just not too sure what happened there. Overall an easy and satisfying watch.

I found this really easy to get up to speed with, despite having not seen the first 10 'Oceans' films.

I never want to dislike a movie I watch. I feel like that doesn't need to be said, but I just want to point out that I'm not one of those film obsessives that feels the need to watch everything regardless of whether it seems like it'll appeal to them. I only watch movies if I think I'll rate them at least three-and-a-half stars. But I wasn't just hoping for a seven out of ten with Ocean's Eleven, I was hoping for a home run. I love heists, I love learning about them and I love watching movies featuring them, and somehow what many would consider the ultimate heist movie had entirely…

Still a lot of fun. Nicely put together and nicely acted. Don Cheadles english accent is tremendously bad but tremendously fun at the same time.

Good movie. Time to watch the sequels.

The ultimate comfort food film. These movies are Soderbergh and Co. at their most carefree, and their most careful. The attention to detail in these films actually reminds me a lot of late era Fincher at times. A fun as hell start to a truly great trilogy.

Slick and very clever, it leaves the viewer guessing the exact details until the end. Genuinely likeable characters and a very well acted 'bad-guy'.

Very nice plot.By far the best film in the trilogy!
