Massive deja-vu here, but slick in places. I know I'll watch part 3. I'm part of the problem.

Lena (Catherine Steadman) follows in her parents footsteps hunting Nazis, and has just three names left on her list. On her latest quest she crosses paths with Wallace (Richard Coyle) who is looking for their secret machine - alas Klausener is already operating it, causing the Nazi Zombies to rise! You don't really need to remember the original Outpost to enjoy its sequel, Black Sun operates well enough as a stand alone film, part horror, part adventure. For its budgetary limitations it is well executed and offers the first chance to see Coyle who's marked for bigger things in the coming months.

A generally decent attempt.
Not quite as decent as the first one, which was a decenter attempt.
All in all I found this enjoyable, and Outpost is shaping up to be a pretty solid straight to DVD zombie franchise.
It's hampered by the usual arsey things that most straight to DVD films have..
..BUT, in my book Outpost is only a Sean Pertwee away from a limited cinema opening.

no film that has a soldier shouting "oy, fucknuts!" before shooting at a zombie nazi witch can be all bad. It's just if you've seen the first film you know and get what you expect. Mouthy mercs running around an abandoned bunker being chased by zombie nazis. Entertaining enough but not as good as the synopsis or posters would suggest.

As a big fan of the first Outpost which was a low budget claustrophobic and highly atmospheric gem i was looking forward to the sequel and i wasn't disappointed with the outcome.
It keeps all the strengths of the first and it continues the story very nicely backed up by a strong script and well written characters and it leaves a door open to a potential third film.
All in all an enjoyable and entertaining movie and it shows that a big budget does not a movie make.

I was really pleasantly surprised with the original and after that I received a recommendation to view Outpost Black Sun and again I wasn't disappointed.
Although a low budget movie it is smartly executed and within its genre of the nazi-zombies created by mad scientist vs smart ass soldiers it does stand out and doesn't disappoint.
Richard Coyle is a decent lead and I am curious to see if he will appear more in leading roles

Technically adept, if chronically under-lit, but story’s a bore; flavourless characters had me rooting for the Nazis

101 MinutesI have watched the first one a while ago, so I few that I missed some stuff, but I was able to get the story anyway, since there's not much to think about it. The nazis had a plan to bring back the third reich that involved undead nazi soldiers and a massive anti magnetic field. I do like the premiss, but there's nothing much special about it, so as the first one, that I also enjoyed. The end suggests a sequel, and I'll probably look for it, without big expectations.
And I got the impression that british loves to make horror movies with soldiers... -
This seemed a little bit Doctor Who-ish in its production (too clean), and didn't have the gritty atmosphere of the first installment. Shame, as I was really looking forward to it.

Pretty decent sequel. One thing that dawned on me while watching this.... explosions? Sure they were made unstoppable and can eat bullets. It's just weird you see a grenade used once in this movie and successfully. Yet.... they rather fire guns at them. Breather/Nazi leader is still a pretty cool looking character.
