It's like the romantic comedy version of Law Abiding Citizen
They both star Gerard Butler.
He must be some kind of strategic mastermind in real life.

This is a great romance that doesn't turn your stomach or fall to clichés. It's heartfelt, it's original, and it's deeply engaging. Hilary Swank and Gerard Butler have a lovely chemistry together which makes the premise of this film truly heartbreaking. With a great supporting cast too and a beautiful soundtrack, it hits a nerve every time.
P.S. (See what I did there?) I wish Gerard Butler was actually Irish.

I went through an entire package of tissues in 2 hours and loved every second of it. The movie was a bit longer than it needed to be but ultimately, it was a satisfying diversion.

Was mir bei “P.S.

I am a bit clueless about ranking this movie, some scenes are really good and other scenes are just clumsy. The story itself is really sweet and sentimental, when I think about Gerard Butler I just see "Kable" Tillman or another action-face, now he do a really good job as the lovely husband.

I don't cry very easily, but this rather cheesy movie totally has my number. I've seen it twice and bawled my eyes out both times.

This one hurts on several levels.
But Lisa Kudrow's character is just the best. -
This is a drama comedy that actually worked for me. The first scene was to show us how much Holly and Gerry loved each other, but it showed it in an unconventional way: the film starts with them fighting.
This just the first in a series of unconventional decisions for this story, which is one of the things I liked about it. Of course the fight ends with them making up, but we get to know so much about them in that one scene.
From then on we see Holly dealing with her loss in her way, but then Gerry's letters start coming. He planned a series of letters to be delivered slowly, to help Holly to go on with…
