Partly Cloudy
2009 Directed by Peter Sohn
Synopsis
Everyone knows that the stork delivers babies, but where do the storks get the babies from? The answer lies up in the stratosphere, where cloud people sculpt babies from clouds and bring them to life. Gus, a lonely and insecure grey cloud, is a master at creating "dangerous" babies. Crocodiles, porcupines, rams and more - Gus's beloved creations are works of art, but more than a handful for his loyal delivery stork partner, Peck. As Gus's creations become more and more rambunctious, Peck's job gets harder and harder. How will Peck manage to handle both his hazardous cargo and his friend's fiery temperament?

conmovedor y simpatiquérrimo cortometraje acerca de los peligros de dedicarse a la repartición de recién nacidos.

A lovely idea, making this especially fun to watch with younger siblings as the short explores where storks get the babies that they deliver from. It's funny and sweet, and a perfect additional feature to Up.

My favorite of the Pixar shorts. Not a bad beat in it.

Pixar short, riffing on the story told to children about storks delivering babies... Quite amusing and sweet. 8/10.

Partly Cloudy is a Pixar animated short film and was shown in theaters before Up.
Partly Cloudy has a great concept that I could really get behind. It put a smile on my face the whole way through. It has likeable characters (Like every other Pixar film), catchy music, and its a whole lot of fun in a small running time.
If you have 6 minutes to spend, I say use it on this.

My two-year old daughter loved it. When it was over, she said she wanted to hear the song again. I loved the animation and the humor, of course, despite the oddball nature of this. Not my favorite Pixar short, but still quite enjoyable.

Another of Pixar's classic shorts. Beautiful animation, expressive characters and a fun idea combine to make a very enjoyable 6 minutes.
