That'll teach me not to pull an "Adam Cook" and choose to watch whatever's on the telly....!

I know this film has plot holes, inconsistent physics and lapses in the world around it but its an interesting film. It has a few layered mysteries which I'd have liked to have seen pushed much further and ultimately, whilst its quietness draws you in, it then doesn't ever push upwards and maybe that's why people haven't enjoyed it. Great effects and score though.
Drinking Game: Ann Hathaway's "puzzled/concern" look
Bottom Line: Interesting concepts, not pushed to their limits but still enjoyable. -
What's worse than a failed plot twist? Nothing, other than bad acting of course. Unfortunately Passengers suffer from both, even if it might seem like an impossible thing with a cast like THAT.
I promised myself to mention Dianne Wiest¹ in this review, and that for two reasons. 1: I always really liked her, and 2: because Dianne Wiest² is about the only real thing making Passengers seem like I didn't waste precious time of my life. The sad truth however, is that Dianne Wiest³ suffered from a really bad script as well as the rest.
It's ok Dianne Wiest⁴, I still love you Dianne Wiest⁵, we all make bad decisions sometimes Dianne Wiest⁶.

"What is scary about commitment is that your life becomes real. It is not a plan, it is not what you had hoped for - it is real."

No, but seriously, with this kind of film, you can do ANY twist in the end except for the one here.

This review reportedly contains spoilers. I can handle the truth.

Am Anfang verwirrend, psychologischen Touch, interessante Handhabung mit dem Thema Tod

Not a bad little film, but beware the trailers that make it seem like a horror or suspense film. It has an element that could, but its more a drama. Solid acting and cast all around!
