This movie includes not one but two "Piranhaconda" theme songs. Keep an ear out for such lyrical gems as "Piranhaconda won't let me be" and "The why don't matter when your face is in tatters."

Bit of a let down. Yes its a B movie but i still expect a bit of entertainment. Never really used the piranha aspect of the creature. Also didn't really have any creative ways of killing its victims. All was just a bit bite and their dead. Some of the actors seemed a little bored and unenthusiastic to their role. The snake itself was massive and impressive. Wasn't as good as sharktopus.

Yes to both.
Also what the fuck is the dude from Kill Bill doing in this movie?? -
Dat ending. I was in hysterics for a good 5 mins.

What can you say? It's a SyFy Channel film about a mutated anaconda with a piranha's head that given a but more freedom from television regulations could have been a lot more than it actually was. It isn't the worst of the current crop of low-budget monster movies but it still isn't very good.

Right off the bat, I have to be honest here - I was not impressed with this one. Nowhere near as entertaining as Sharktopus or Dinocroc vs Supergator had been, both of which had also been made by the same crew of people. A big problem with Piranhaconda is that there's no overlaying plot at all until over halfway through the movie, so a good 70% of the movie, if not more, is mostly just random generic scene after random generic scene that could easily be placed in any random order without changing the movie one iota, with an occasional misc death scene sprinkled in there. Then when they do finally put some form of plot in (I.E. the kidnappers…

From the director of great 80's cheese, such as chopping mall, deathstalker 2 (personal fav), not of this earth, and return of the swamp thing, comes this syfy gem. Not really a gem but still. Awesome soundtrack, look it up on youtube.
