Almost as good as the comic the movie was based on. They left quite a bit out of it and I would have liked to have seen a two-part movie like they did with The Dark Knight Returns. Still this was an enjoyable move for fans of the Hulk. Hulk smashed, and he smashed well. I'm not sure why they switched out Silver Surfer for Beta Ray Bill though. I would like to have seen Hulk fighting Silver Surfer. I also wish they would have shown more of the aftermath of the events in the movie, but like I said they would have had to make a second movie to keep everything from the book.
I am really liking this trend of comic book movies based on popular story lines. As many times as I've read Planet Hulk, it's awesome to see it in action. -
The only other Marvel cartoons I had watched were the Ultimate Avengers movies and I didn't like those so I was a little afraid to try watching another one, but this one was recommended so I tried it out and I actually really liked it. It's not to the level of some other cartoon movies, but it's still fun and doesn't really get boring at any point. It gives me a bit more hope for some of these movies.

This was pretty damn great. It truly is little more than Spartacus or Gladiator or John Carter starring Hulk. But, man...that's still entertaining as hell.

Great animated story of the Marvel comic. Marvel doesn't have great animated stuff, but this wasn't too bad. DC is way better at putting out the good stuff on home video.

Doof.

Nice to see Hulk smash! I just kept wondering why he didn't turn into Banner, that there was something they forgot to explain.

Planet Hulk is an odd entry into Marvel Animated Features' repertoire. On one hand, it has far and away the most bizarre premise. A talking Hulk lands on an alien planet and takes part in gladiatorial games held by the king of the planet. It's a definite break from the norm of earthly adventures Hulk and his fellow Marvel heroes take part in. Apart from brief roles by other recognizable characters, this is a solo Hulk adventure, though--something which hasn't transferred well to Marvel's live-action Cinematic Universe.
On the other hand, however, this is probably the best Marvel Animated Feature. It treats its protagonist (and his allies and enemies) as actually characters rather than bland cutouts. Hulk dynamically develops. The…

Marvel's DTV stuff hasn't really impressed, so this one surprised me with its great storytelling and animation. Pulling Hulk out of the tired old superhero genre and putting him in more classical story arc was a stroke of genius that translated well the screen.

I knew the plot going in, so I had high hopes.
Animation was shotty and inconsistent. Voice acting was fine. Background stories were the best part, and they weren't great.
Extremely lackluster when it could have been awesome.Yes I know it's basically a kids movie, but they still murdered a bunch of people, so they could have done the whole thing well.
