It's why I love it. No sense or reason for it and I love it. People making a film that they want to see and enjoy. Not every film needs to be an Oscar contender. Make films for enjoyment, not just to provoke thought.
There's too much gory fun to single anything single moment out but I have to mention that the person next to me on the train suddenly stopped watching over my shoulder when Tarantino's melting testicles appeared.

Ridiculous, stylish, over the top fun. Perfectly captures that 70's midnight movie feel. Clearly the better half of the Grindhouse double feature.

Not too much a fan of this one. I can see what Rodriguez was going for, but it didn't work with me. It was just too over the top and too ridiculous. The things that I liked in From Dusk 'til Dawn, I didn't so much like in this.

Before this I can't say I've seen any grindhouse or even exploitation flicks (other than the ones that are now tame and mainstream i.e. Dirty Harry) and I now know I'm not interested. A bit of goofy fun, but for the most part it is boring and uninteresting.

Over the top gross funny action!
I loved the effect used to make the movie seem old.
Another one that I was up for seeing for some time!
