Currently watching some films I've either bought, rented, or had on my computer for a while and never watched them. The fifteenth one: Playing God.
So after watching this film, I quickly wondered why I even bothered with it in the first place? Then I remembered: Timothy Hutton playing a bad guy, a young, then beautiful Angelina Jolie, and INXS' Suicide Blonde playing over the trailer, unfortunately the song didn't make it into the film.

If you like Duchovny, you'll probably enjoy this film as I did. Aside from him, though, there's not a whole lot to recommend. Jolie is tempting, yet clothed. The plot is interesting, yet tired. Hutton's character is the epitome of cool in his own mind, yet he does the most ignorant things to undermine himself. Oh… the biker bar was a fun scene. ;-)

I've only seen this film once and that was back in 97 when it was released, I remember liking the premise, but not the execution at all, so I can't justify ever watching it again.
