After 19 weeks and thousands of nominations and suggestions the Underrated series is finally over. Thanks to everybody who has…
A tough marshal with political ambitions leads an elite posse to capture a notorious criminal. He succeeds, but instead of cheering him, the public turns against him.
It's well made and has a great performance from Dern, but the film just felt flat for the most part.
It has a really awesome sequence with a train on fire, but the ending is quite lackluster.
Douglas is basically hung out to dry and nothing he does makes the reasons the people turn on him logical.
There a scene when the bad guy is walking through town with Douglas over his shoulder and not one person tries to stop him? Just things like that make zero sense.
