This movie brings me so many childhood memories...

I had always seen this film in the video store when I was growing up and I would pick it up and look at it, but I would never rent it and I wonder now if I would have loved this film because of the fact that it was about kids just being kids and trying to escape the reality of the terrible things that are going on around them. This movie really works well to me except for the end which you either buy into or you don't and I guess I did even if it was silly. It is so weird to think that the two young boys have grown up to be decent actor in great films.
