Ed Harris is very good as always and a lot of the traditional sports movie/overcoming adversity notes are hit in somewhat effective ways, but Cuba Gooding Jr. just kills it with maybe the worst mentally challenged performance I've ever seen.
-
I love me some Ed Harris, and the film does a good job of evoking emotion and being entertaining.
-
Cuba Gooding Jr goes WAY overboard with his full retard schtick and like the film itself, it's unbearable to watch.
Jesus, I forgot how bad this was until just thinking about it now. I remember not liking it, but man...I think I hate it now.
Jesus this was terrible. -
How they took a story that is inherently so moving and turned it into a jumbled, lifeless mess is beyond my comprehension. It's as if they let the real life Radio write and direct the film.

that's a, that's a good one Coach Jones
-
Heartwarming. A little slow during the first act, but beautifully played in the latter half. I had tears in my eyes.
-
Moving story with great acting.

'Inspired by a true story' and starring Ed Harris and Cuba Gooding Jr - American Football movie but the main character isn't a player!
-
I liked it well enough it's worth watching at least once.
