The exploitative, vile and offensive ending to this film ruins all the passable mediocrity that came before it.
Gosh, that ending pissed me off.....
I'm off to kick something.

Okay, I'm prepared for the hate.. But.. I loved this movie.. and no, I do not like Twilight. I despise it.
There, I got it off my chest. Now let me explain.Remember Me is a film that I found just really different than what I was expecting. It's such an interesting piece on how unexpected life is. I loved the depth of all the characters, and they all feel real. Never forced or cheaply written, I dug it. Robert Pattinson is a guy, who outside of Twilight, I dig. I think he is just a solid actor.
This is probably his best performance, and keep in mind I'm yet to see Cosmopolis. His character is so wounded by life,…

I was in stitches when Jason Biggs' character is caught in the act of having sex by his father! a must see.

A heartwarming yet heartbreaking tale with an extraordinary twist at the end that holds so much meaning. Extremely compelling.

Good movie. 3 stars.
And an extra half star for Robert Pattinson. -
αυτό βασικά το πρωτοείδα για ταγόρι.
τελικά, η ταινία είναι αρκετά καλή, και βέβαια καλύτερη από όσο περίμενα.έκλαψα *με μαύρο δάκρυ* στο τέλος.

The 'twist' ending makes this one of the most depressing films as there is a great build up to nothing. It makes you wonder but it's not fulfilling.

This wasn't as bad as I was expecting it to be. Sure, it has THAT ending and it does milk it way too much for the final five minutes but there are some good qualities here too. The two leads give believable, charismatic performances, the dialogue and characterisation is really strong throughout and, more subtly, there's some excellent set design. But it does feel a little uncomfortable, the way it manipulates the audience and there is a slight feeling that when misery gets piled on top of misery on top of misery on top of more misery, it teeters dangerously close to being more absurd than moving. Which is a shame as its heart seems to be in the right place.

A weird exercise in misery porn, Remember Me subjects its (broadly likeable, well drawn) characters to one tragedy after another. Its ending was much ridiculed at the time, so I knew it was coming, and thematically, it worked - the whole film works hard to portray a world where unspeakable violence can erupt at any moment - but... I think I'm struggling with why it bothers? I'm not sure what the point was, other than to remind us all that one day we're gonna die, and we don't know when that's going to be. So, um, thanks?
