Started watching this last night, and wasn't overly impressed. I was getting tired, so I stopped watching with about 30 minutes left of the film.
I watched the rest today, and was really surprised at how much I was enjoying the last part of it. It seems as though they saved all the good stuff until the last 30 minutes. Some of the gore was fantastic, such as threading a necklace through the flesh of her neck, and some of the exploding limbs look great too.
I really came around to the film in the end, and definitely feel like it was a step up from the previous one.
Worth a watch if you haven't already.

It hasn't aged as well as the original ROTLD and it screams "90's HORROR FILM" throughout but this third instalment in the franchise is still a lot of fun. Centred around a Romeo & Juliet-style romantic storyline the tone is a an uneven mixture of serious love story and comic book-style effects but overall it works and is the second best film in the series.

De las películas de zombies que en realidad no son películas de zombies, quizá este sea el mejor exponente. Con un Brian Yuzna pletórico, una historia de amor con toques de giallo y una Mindy Clarke ultrafollable que pudo convertirse en la scream queen noventera si hubiese seguido por este camino.

Completely forgot I watched this, was different to the previous films as it was romantic horror as opposed to comedy horror, remember very little of it other than the girl had a great rack.

Brian Yuzna nimmt die kultige Serie, schmeißt nahzu sämtlichen Humor über Bord und packt dafür eine ordentliche Packung Splatter drauf. Return of the Living Dead 3 schaue ich mir immer wieder gerne an, wobei die Handlung wirklich arg an den Haaren herbei gezogen ist (wie z.B. die minimal bewachte Forschungsstation). Na ja, dafür ist die Piercing-Szene nahezu legendär und es gibt einige schöne Zombies zu bestaunen.

this film, directed by brain yuzna, (REANIMATOR ) is the only installment in the series to make it as a romantic zombie film. the acting and budget are horrible, the zombies are way off, but... its return of the living dead. you gotta love it lol

its not a bad film just dont expect it to be like the previous two, it has a completely different tone.

Actually not half bad.
