The story of the Rettendon, Range Rover Murders, and a decent one too! Obviously, the way the story pans out is open to interpretations (depending on what some believe happened leading up to the real killings). The actors portrayed madmen such as Pat Tate really well, who really came across as a fucking lunatic! Well worth a watch if you enjoy the British gangster scene, with Essex accents, drugs and violence, get it watched. Not one for the family on a Sunday afternoon though.

I have absolutely no idea why Rise Of The Footsolider needs revisiting. I’ll admit to ordering it on demand one night about five years ago after a lengthy session in the pub and although the particulars of the plot elude me, I remember enjoying the evening and having fun with some friends. The need to release an extreme extended edition however is as baffling as the Lucan disappearance or the true identity of Jack the Ripper, yet here it is nonetheless.
It’s just one of an unexplainable slew of geezer films dealing with the Rettendon Range Rover murders in 1995, that started with Essex Boys in 2000 and will continue next year with The Rise And Fall Of The Essex…

This literally has the worst wig design I have ever seen in a film. B grade (and that's being generous) English cast that jumps from entertaining scenes to an overly long ending. I actually bought this on Blu from recommendations or more than one friend.

Listen, if I was you, I'd get those punters out of there 'cause the moment those Turks walk out that door, I'm gonna go fucking Schwarzenegger on the c**t.

Average British Gangster flick featuring a cast of nobody's, That's better than you think it will be, but is not great by any stretch of the imagination!

Excellent Film- bloody, violent and based on the true life of Carlton Leach and the 1995 Rettendon Drug Murders - Well worth a view

Standard British "tough guy" movie.

The story of the Range Rover murders through the eyes of Carlton Leach, a boy who starts of as a football hooligan and works his way up to being muscle for a group of Essex Gangsters.
This film is a cocktail of drugs and violence and you are left feeling no sympathy to the characters, but then again I don't think you are meant to.
The sweetner for me on this is the soundtrack..it is truly amazing with some classic 90s rave.
I would highly recommend this brutal but excellent film.
