Documentary maker Jan Holman follows the ultrafamous singer/songwriter Jaromír Novahica during his tour with the band Cechomor. The combination is very succesful, but it draws a heavy toll on the band members and Jan Holman.
Rok Dábla is a fictional documentary following Dutch filmmaker Jan Holman, who sets out to depict the lives of recovering alcoholics at a rehab facility. There, he meets the famous Czech folk musician Jaromir Nohavica and decides to tag along when Nohavica attempts his comeback. The following year of touring changes the lives and perceptions of everyone involved, mysterious visions and signs abound, and it becomes apparent that everybody, Holman and the enigmatic Nohavica as well as other members of the band and entourage are slowly being transformed.
