More-
I dunno if Holmes had an extra pinch of cocaine this morning or what, but he is delightfully high-energy throughout this one, going incognito three (3) separate times in his trademark elaborate disguises. Am I nuts or is his turn as a dockyard thug pretty close to being a Boris Karloff impersonation?
The rest of the elements of the series are operating at peak capacity too - particularly Lionel Atwill as Professor Moriarty. It figures that a guy who made a living playing villains would knock it out of the park as The Villain. As detective series pictures go, this is pretty much flawless.
