No she wasn't. I actually ended up having to send her back to the minors. Needed more book-lernin'.

There are only a few comedy films within my library, mostly out of the fact that so many seem to lose their humor the second time around, yet I have to say that “She’s Out of My League” is honestly one of my absolute favorites. The humor is classic and more than anything genuine, which is quite difficult for a film in this genre to achieve successfully. With a great cast that delivers every line naturally, especially Jay Baruchel's awkward sincerity, the film manages to be a romantic comedy yet not really being categorized as one, as the humor is also at times a bit explicit and "mature", which actually made this film surprisingly good on so many levels. I didn't thought this would be this funny! Good romantic comedy.
Kirk's idiots friends are hilarious! -
Not as shitty as I thought it would be. Sure it hits all the cliches in the book but its fun enough that you can put up with the extremely generic story and goofy loud mouth best friend.
Side note the main girl was constantly referred to as being 10/10 and whilst attractive she wasn't that good looking. I thought she was pretty much in his league.

"Fuller, you have a choice. You can step aside. Or you can fight me. If that is how you want to go, I warn you, I will go dark side. Okay? I will rip out your hair. I will bite your chin off. And I will stab you in the eyes with confiscated scissors. Because I'm an insane mother fucker."
Fun rom-com that made me laugh, but there's really not much to it.

Sometimes you see a movie with no agenda and you have time to kill. There is no adventure, no thrill, no action, no drama. Still at the end of the credits, you don't feel like you wasted your time. That might be cause of beauty of Alice Eve or comic timings of Jay Baruchel.
The 2010 romcom, She's Out Of My League gives a nice smile here and there. Good watch.

Learned: It's ok to insult your family if your girlfriend is hot. Awful film. *dies*

A very average rom com but Baruchel makes it watchable.

Raunchy comedy that delivers surprising laughs. Starring the nerdy Jay Baruchel as Kirk who find the phone of the "10" Molly, Alice Eve, and start dating. With his friends always telling him that he is at best a 6, he must face challenges including her ex boyfriend. Not a great movie, but delivers laughs that make the movie watchable. I feel like this movie is sexiest, but they make up for it by making Molly at least a bit confident and self-dependent.

Forgot how funny this movie is.

Not awful but not very good either. I laughed a few times but there isn't really much story and thinking back on it, there seemed to be very few actual jokes as well. Meh.

I enjoyed She's Out of My League a lot more than I thought I would. Sure, it's a bit clichéd, and there's several telegraphed moments where you knew exactly what was coming, but I did find it pretty funny. I particularly enjoyed the supporting cast: Kirk's friends (two of which were in Cloverfield) are solid and his entire family is well-cast and really makes the movie. She's Out of My League is nothing new, but it is at least worth a look.
