Skyfall is not only the best Bond film of the Daniel Craig era, it is one of the best Bond films to date, period. Watch at your earliest convenience.

In previous movies Bond has generally gotten by by simply being more badass than his opponents, yet presented with treats in which cyber espionage does more damage than any operative can, it is easy to see why Bond may feel his job security is at risk.
I though this added a new dimension to one of the longest lived characters in movie history, making it one of the best entries into the franchise. Not to mention Javier Bardem is delightful… -
As I was sitting in front of my computer this afternoon I realised I was probably the last person on earth not to have seen the latest Bond instalment. My knowledge and appreciation of the classic Bond films may be minimal, but I must admit I'm a fan of the Daniel Craig vehicle. That said, Casino Royale was the better of the two thus far. Many of the archetypal Bond elements are still evident in Skyfall, but Craig's Bond has…

Not really into James Bond but this was really good.

still one of the best Bond movies ever. for Deakins cinematography alone is worth the price of admission. that Shanghai stuff? amazing.

A várva várt új Bond film.

best line: "Welcome to Scotland"
still got the gritty action, tongue-and-cheek scenes (cool old school car, new software-savvy Q). not *quite* as awesome as the first two Daniel Craig Bond movies.

Bond's loyalty to M is tested when her past comes back to haunt her. Whilst MI6 comes under attack, 007 must track down and destroy the threat, no matter how personal the cost.

Am I still going to be a pleb and give Skyfall a perfect rating? Yes I am.

Scrupulously well scripted, well made, and well acted, it's a pretty faultless movie*.
So either you like the new direction of Bond or you don't. I do. Skyfall sets some very clear, specific stances:
The humor has become understated in a really, really good way. Ralph Feinnes shines especially bright here.
The moral ambiguity - always present in the series - is placed in a central role in this film. It permeates everything.
Javier Bardem radiates a frighteningly unhinged breed…

A Bond film I wasn't bored by!

Totally waste of time.
