This review reportedly contains spoilers. I can handle the truth.

A retelling of the original story, though there's no real humor here this time. Pretty forgettable.

While I wasn't a fan of Slumber Party Massacre II due to its bizarreness and general "WTF?" aspect, I despised Slumber Party Massacre III simply because of its terribleness. Horrid, horrid acting combined with a plot that had severe logic problems led me to really hate the time I spent with this film. Sure, Maria Ford was in it, but her lack of acting skill was even more noticeable at this early point in her career. The Slumber Party Massacre Collection itself is a solid DVD set, but beyond the first film there's not much to hang your hat on in terms of film quality.

Slightly better than the previous film, but still a waste of time. The third entry is more grounded than the second and the dialogue is slightly better but the original proves to be the only one worth a viewing.

Another fun slasher film!

Dildo that needs to be plugged in -VS- three foot cordless drill with enough battery life to kill a house full of girls. Wow, women really got screwed in this film.

Well... that was considerably better than part II.
Despite the vague attempts at acting, the script is far more developed than is necessary for a genre piece like this. The humour is half decent, the pacing is restrained and it ticked several Slasher boxes.
Essentially, this is a retread of the original. I figure that after the crackers plot in the previous entry, sticking to a more tried and tested formula seemed like a safe bet.
Not bad.
Not too good either.
If you've stuck out long enough to endure part 2 then you might as well complete the Trilogy :)
