I wish John Krasinski was in more rom-coms so I had a bigger selection of films to watch after midnight.
I agree with all the half star reviews of this film - it is wrong and predictable and full of pitiful and detestable characters, but there's a reason we watch this type of film and it does the trick. I need romance; It has romance. I don't think the story line is completely immoral but then I guess that shows my own flaws, not particularly the films. I'm easily manipulated by such fantasy romances, so I kind of liked it.

Awful rich white people doing awful rich white people things, and wondering why everyone hates them.
This did nothing for my distaste for Ginnifer Goodwin.
One star for John Krasinski being all cute and stuff.

I must have been in a really good mood when I watched this movie because I liked it. Nothing really stands out, nothing blows up and there were no car chases, but I enjoyed it. There were several times I thought to myself "here it is, here is when I will hate the movie" but it never happened. I even liked the ending. Sure, I wanted to punch Kate Hudson's character but I was supposed to feel that way for once. I am so confused....I enjoyed this movie. Baffling.

I won't pretend this film is particularly well-made, well-written, or well-acted ... but admittedly, perhaps for no good reason at all, I quite liked it.

Quirky little chick flick with all of the same formulaic plot twists and character development. If you're into that kind of thing, you'll like this film.

It's humor is very conventional, but the film is as romantic and witty as it needs to be.

Great screenplay

I felt like I was watching two films at once most of the time - a rom-com and a drama, spliced together somewhat haphazardly. Some good performances and realistic depictions of modern relationships, though.

I loved it. My kind of story lolol. and i love Kate Hudson ♥

EVERY CHARACTER IN THIS MOVIE IS AN AWFUL PERSON AND THEY ALL DESERVE EACH OTHER. I don't understand how I'm supposed to root for someone to betray their best friend or fiancee, regardless of what a vapid person she is. If she's that awful then why is she in your life in the first place?! This is what I get for trying to inject logic into modern romantic comedies. The whole thing just left a bad taste in my mouth. Ick.
