Had to watch this again for an audio commentary on the podcast. Thankfully I was watching it with the sound off this time.

This film is pretty terrible. I give it 2 1/2 because Chris Klein's bad acting made me laugh so much. I'd suggest dont watch the film just go on youtube and search for the Chris Klein scenes.

It's a hadoken in the face of every street fighter fan. :D

A horrible affair. Everybody was just in it for the paycheque. Atrocious script, acting, action, and VFX. And beyond that it has almost nothing to do with the game series it's based off of. Most of the cast only represent the characters they're supposed to be in name only. And some of the characters' backstories are highly questionable, namely M. Bison's. He was an Asian baby born to Irish parents, but grew up to anyway to have blond hair and blue eyes. He spent his whole life in Thailand, but has an Irish accent, and when his wife was pregnant, he tore through her stomach and transferred his humanity into his daughter, so he could be "evil". This makes the 1994 JCVD movie look like a crowd pleaser.

"I love this job."
Don't forget to flashback to a scene that happened literally 2 minutes ago.

Half a star for Chris Klein's "eye acting"...
