Strippers Vs. Werewolves

Synopsis
Mickey, who happens to be a werewolf and a crime boss, gets all worked up and hairy during a private dance at a strip club. Justice, the dancer, grabs the nearest weapon and lands a fatal blow: her silver fountain pen right through Mickey's wolfed-out eye. This ignites a small-scale war between Mickey's group of werewolf mobsters and the sultry strippers of Vixens.

Whoa,did I get suckered into watching that!! With a catchy title and special appearance by The Martin Kemp! how could this fail? Easily, cos it was shit. 1 star for the strippers and Englunds 2 minutes of screen time

Lascivious vs Lycanthrope. Should be easy to get that right, huh? It surely can’t be hard to make a watchable film of scantily clad women tackling lupine monsters?
Not so. Instead what you have is a litany of awful excesses resulting in an amateurish semblance of entertainment. Bolstered by the inclusion of a few decent actors to fill out a cast presumably only in the roles for their willingness to bare flesh, it seems like nobody concerned can be bothered delivering the atrocious script. I’m sure on paper the gags read as oh-so-clever, full of references to dogs and moons and hair, but it’s hard to believe that when you’ve seen them delivered.

Despite a cast of familiar faces and a strong visual style this horror comedy fails on two crucial counts - it's neither very frightening or very funny. Furthermore it's disappointingly light on both werewolvery and stripping... That probably tells you everything you need to know.

Look at the title, this should at least be fun, right? Nah, it's got nothing fun in it and the collection of Eastenders/Hollyoaks/Emmerdale actors show the level of talent involved! Worse thing I've seen in ages.

Well, what to say? You get what's on the package, delivered at a slow pace. Gather some friends, do some shots and put this on; no need to be quiet while it's running.
