A 30's something Dutch couple take a second honeymoon to Buenos Aires where they are hoping to save a faltering marriage. Unlucky for them they are the sole witnesses to a random police execution, which they have captured on camera. At which point the chase is on.
Well made thriller, the energy never lets up, the pace is relentless and there are excellent performances from the two main leads.
Don't be put off because it's Dutch. It really is a cracking good film. Hollywood couldn't have made this any better. I kid you not it's the type of film Liam Neeson excels in and if he were the lead the critics would be saying brilliant!!

Dutch movie about a couple going to Argentina where they witness and accidentally tape on a camera an execution done by a police man. They fled and are hunted by the police who want to have the camera stick. Well acted by Susan Visser and Barry Atsma and the film is just short enough to keep the tense.

The tense climax put it over the top for me. Really inventive action and tension, based almost entirely around long takes, just barely makes up for characters that, despite strong performances, are hampered by an incredibly dumb screenplay that relies on a pretty weak idiot plot.

Taped is exciting, well acted and has some nice action scenes. But it also has a few implausible plot developments. But for a Dutch film is a good film and (just) worth 4 stars.

Taught vacation crime thriller. Well shot and featuring excellent performances, but my overall issue with the film is the dearth of logical choices made by the leads. Benefit of the doubt can certainly be lent to a point considering the harrowing situation, but basic human instinct is ignored to serve the convenient plot devices. Otherwise, solid flick.

Refreshingly simple. You read the synopsis and you know exactly what you're getting, but it is expertly paced and executed, with some of the most beautiful and amazing tracking shots I've seen in years.

Starts out as a psychological drama about a married couple taking a vacation in Argentina to decide whether to stay together or not and soon turns into a thriller when they witness (and videotape) a brutal murder. The murderer sees them and they have to run to stay alive.
Barry Atsma is very good in this film, he definitely is our country's top leading man at the moment. The chase is quite tense and well-filmed. The villain always stays one dimensional and you never really know the 'why', but that doesn't distract from enjoying this fast paced thriller with good performances.
