Teen Titans was a rather fun kid’s TV series that blended Western characters with anime-inspired art direction. After several seasons it was finally cancelled with this feature length DTV release being the show’s swansong. Unfortunately, whilst it features the trademark madcap humour and competently choreographed action, this film is not really a patch on a traditional length TV episode.
The big appeal with the film is the move to Tokyo which affords plenty of cameos from Japanese cinema and animation. This means we get homages to the likes of Godzilla and Astroboy throughout which is entirely in keeping with the tone of the show. The problem is that stretching it to effectively three episodes in length has harmed the pacing.…

It wasn't as good as the actual show but it was good enough to please me.

Predictable main story, but nice side-stories and a fun setting.

Not as awesome as the show itself, but it's entertaining and a pretty satisfying swan song. If this is the last time I see these characters (in animated form at least) it's good enough for what it is.

Sigo en el maratón de película DC/Marvel; aunque hasta ahora no ha habido una que tenga algo especial que resaltar.
