Teen Titans was a rather fun kid’s TV series that blended Western characters with anime-inspired art direction. After several seasons it was finally cancelled with this feature length DTV release being the show’s swansong. Unfortunately, whilst it features the trademark madcap humour and competently choreographed action, this film is not really a patch on a traditional length TV episode.

The big appeal with the film is the move to Tokyo which affords plenty of cameos from Japanese cinema and animation.…
