Ok, THIS is the last Disney package film and as the last one, it's quite enjoyable actually. This consists of two timeless classics, The Wind in the Willows and The Legend of Sleepy Hollow. I liked the characters in Wind in the Willows and it had some pretty funny moments. Looking at Legend of Sleepy Hollow, it's interesting looking at the story as a whole now with a more mature mindset because before now, I never realized how much of a dick Ichabod Crane was. When you break the story down and look at Ichabod's REAL intentions for wanting to marry Katrina, he's kind of an asshole. Nonetheless, really liked the story. Both are pretty fun,…

I'll be honest, the only other retelling I've seen of the Ichabod Crane story was from a show I loved when I was a kid (if you were a 90's kid you might remember it) Wishbone. That episode scared the crap out of me when I was kid but I still loved it (seriously they had a straight up jump scare in it, a bit much for a PBS show). Even then I liked a good old safe scare. Also it stared my love of Halloween. Also i think I remember reading the the Mr. Toad story in school at some point. It sounds familiar at least. Anyways onto this, I have never seen this two story Disney…

I finally got around to seeing this and it is now tied with 'Fun And Fancy Free' as my favourite of the Disney "package" films.
Both segments were really fun and enjoyable, both being traditional Disney takes on timeless classics.

Enjoyed both stories. Both were comical in tone and the animation fantastic, especially in the Ichabod segment.

The last of Disney's package films. Okay on the whole, but the Mr. Toad short is easily the best short in all of the package films.

Me encanta esta historia (la del sapo no, esa es relleno). El gran clásico del Jinete sin cabeza. Luv it too. Katrina es una mean girl (significa chica) de todas todas xd
EL SIN CABESAAA!!!

The last of Disney's early "package" films, and finally one where all the segments (in this one, two total) are top notch. I liked some of the shorts in the earlier ones, especially Make Mine Music, but the film as a whole was tainted by some that just didn't work quite as well. Both shorts in this, one focusing on Ichabod Crane and the other on J. Thaddeus Toad, Esq, are really entertaining. Sixth film was the charm, I guess (didn't hurt it only had two parts to deal with--less chances to mess up!).

Not one of the best Disney films, but still an enjoyable double-feature.

This review reportedly contains spoilers. I can handle the truth.

One of the better Disney movies from this era that lost man power and resources from the war.

zzzzZZZzzzz. Los sapos de la primera historia me han recordado a los geniales sapos flamencos de Pulgarcita xD

The second half, the Legend of Sleepy Hollow, is one of Disney's all-time bests.
The adaption of the Wind in the Willows isn't half bad either.
