Did you know there's such a thing as rural Maryland? With trees and fields and countryfied rubes and everything? It's true! Anyway, this movie is about a time some aliens went there.

The Police, Adjective of awful no-budget monster movies.

A bunch of murderous space creatures terrorize a small town in this ultra low-budget celluloid disaster.
This film is just bad on every level... the acting is embarrassingly poor, the direction and camerawork are completely uninspiring, the special FX are dirt-cheap, and the music and sound FX are painfully annoying. The sad thing is that at the core of the story there is a great concept and in the right hands maybe it could've been a classic.
I would advise against watching this movie, except maybe as a curiosity.. -
I don't mind cheesy monster suits and bad special effects but this movie moves at a snail's pace. Bad pacing will hurt a movie every time. It's only in the last fifteen minutes that the action picks up but by then, it's too little too late. Not even the stop-motion-animated Leemoid alien (the most impressive scenes) can save this film. Bad movies can be fun but this is not one of them.
This was Don Dohler's first feature film. Fortunately for him and his fans, he got better as he gained more experience.

Hilariously entertaining Don Dohler effort features small town cast but with great, yet cheesy, practically effects. Grab some popcorn or a pizza to enjoy with this one!

How to review a film like this? 4 stars for ideas and entertainment? 1 star for overall competence? It's Don Dohler - you'll love it or you won't. Me? I'm always a sucker for a rubber-suit monster.
