I've never had this feeling before. It feels great, wonderful actually. I've always been left in the cold in regards to the MCU, but now, I've finally discovered one that I love. I've seen The Avengers multiple times, and It's always been an exceptionally fun ride, but for some reason, this recent rewatch has transformed my admiration into adoration. I've fallen in love with a Marvel movie, and I'm so very happy.

Every frame feels like a torn panel from…

Started off a triple bill before Age of Ultron midnight showing. I know it might not be the greatest cinema ever made, but for me I can't help but love it. One of my favourite films.

Honestly I think I objectivity prefer Age of Ultron to The Avengers, but I have to stick with my slightly higher rating for this purely because of what an achievement this film was. This could have gone so wrong, bringing together all these heroes could have been a mess but instead it's simply brilliant.

Age of Ultron is going to get a lot of flak for being very similar to the first Avengers film but honestly that's not a bad…

On getting home from the cinema I couldn't help myself and returned to the Avengers for another viewing. One thing I'd never noticed before was the three references to a cellist that are made by either Stark or Pepper Potts regarding Coulson. This becoming a plot point on Agents of SHIELD. Also the first appearance, that I can recall, of Jasper Sitwell. It's the film that keeps on giving.

Could possibly be the greatest super hero movie of all-time.

In preparation for tonight's trip to see Age of Ultron I thought I'd throw care to the wind and watch The Avengers for the 2nd time this year. This film never disappoints.

I remember a time when I was dubious as to whether this kind of ensemble super hero flick would work. I wasn't overly enamoured with the first Iron Man or The Incredible Hulk, and Thor is still a floppy haired one-trick pony. My fondness of Marvel's Phase I…

Movie 5- probably my favourite film ever and it was uncanny seeing this movie again in the cinema ( did sleep for about 10 mins again near the end) (9am-11am)

Still a superb achievement, brimming with zippy dialogue and showcasing a masterfully constructed screenplay. Hulk still ripples with threat, and Thor's and Loki's lines roll with Shakespearean cadences.

There's a tiny dip in urgency while the Triskelion's engine-failure substoryline turns Iron Man and Captain America into two blokes pushing a broken down car to give it a kickstart, but that swiftly passes. And poor Hawkeye's role in the final battle seems to be reduced to standing on a roof and…

I watched this one in anticipation for Age of Ultron which I will be seeing in an hour! And this is still my favorite Superhero movie out there. The action, stories coming together, interactions between the heroes it's all great! I still absoluty love the casting choices. Robert Downey Jr. is Tony Stark, Chris Hemsworth is a great Thor (fucking love that character, Mark Ruffalo is good, Scarlett Johansson is one hell of a sexy Black Widow. Renner does a…
