I learned three main things from this. #1 Without illegal immigrants from Mexico, our country, particularly our soccer teams, will fail. #2 Without the help of Foreign Teachers, our children are destined to fail state exams. And #3, if you're dumb and cannot get through school, you might be able to get by with an athletic scholarship.

At its best, it's a ripoff of "The Mighty Ducks" (which was a ripoff of "The Bad News Bears") and at its worst a DISASTER. There's also very little soccer here, which is fine for me, but it's a little odd for a soccer movie, no?

A good soccer movie. One of my favorites when I was a kid (hence the high rating: nostalgia). Not quite on par with Sandlot as far as family sports movies, but good fun.
