Overlong demonstration of why you shouldn't let teenage boys run kingdoms or do impressions of Inigo Montoya.

This is my favorite of the three Narnia films. Yes, I am a heretic, but I have reason to be - this movie has a thrilling story and stunning art and music to go with. I am not a book purist, so the changes to the storyline didn't bother me. There is some content - immodesty and a little romance, primarily - and the violence is to be noted. But if you're not a book purist and you like epic fantasy, try this.

I'm pretty impressed with how much this sequel improved from the first which I was not a huge fan of and I mean it when I say, this movie improves nearly everything that was wrong with the first. How much? That depends. Not enough to make it anything great, but it is good. It definitely feels like the director was under studio pressure with the first film but due to studio confidence, Adamson was able to put much more creative input with this film and managed to bring out a much more darker, grittier, emotional and overall entertaining fantasy flick. There's no denying that the film has similarities with the first but it basically also feels like a better version…

All of the magic and fun found in the first Narnia film are lost in the sequel. It's still a spectacle, but it all feels hollow.

Despite being a decent adventure and an okay plot, I had many nitpicks throughout the film, so many that I cannot even remember them all. The story was good, but Hollywood ruined it. The plot and the action dragged out WAY too long, the action scenes they normally promise were disappointing, and the many cliche elements were boring. My sister fell asleep twice during the film, but said it was okay. I managed to stay awake the entire time, but occasionally made comedic commentary to keep me and others awake. It was worth the 50 cents I paid to see it, and it's worth a viewing or rental.

Bad, after a while the lack of blood becomes disturbing

It has Ben Barnes in it, need I say anymore? Sometimes the children's acting is not up to scratch but this still remains a magical journey that makes me cry at the end every damn time.

This is a solid example of a film on which I have absolutely no opinion on but have spent a 90 minute period absorbed in it

Pretty solid sequel, despite the 'God' themes being more in your face. The kids are all better actors and the CGI is even better. The mentally challenged Bear is tops!!!

"Funnier, more action-packed and slightly better than the first."
