Slapdash tour diary basically suggests Maria Bamford is eternally likable and that Oswalt, Posehn, and Galifianakis are far more interested in showing each other their asses than in sharpening their material. Occasional digs at other comics' shticks indicates a self-righteousness that's entirely undeserved.

I love Maria Bamford's comedy and Maria Bamford the person.

Some really funny portions, as well as some pretty baffling moments. The filmmaking is amateurish. Do we always need to be looking up at the subjects? Hold the camera at eye level! Also, a lot of Patton Oswalt's jokes aren't as sharp as they would later become when released on Werewolves and Lollipops.

A nice documentary... I don't have much to say except that I enjoy all the comedians involved in the tour. They're all at mega-levels of acclaim or fame 7 years since this was released, and the camera kind of just sits back and lets everyone unwind and talk about the nature of stand-up comedy, performance in general, or themselves. There isn't much of a narrative drive to it, no real point besides "get to know Patton Oswalt, Maria Bamford, Brian Poseihn and Zack Galifianakis", but it's enjoyable all the same.

There's not a ton of stand-up footage in this documentary, which is fine by me. It may be a documentary about four comedians on a live tour, but the little personal moments between their shows were way more entertaining than any straight-up comedy set I've seen. Add to this how brutally honest Patton Oswalt, Brian Posehn, Maria Bamford, and…

If you enjoy watching comedians just be funny in every day life plus a bit of stand up this is great.
