More-
Sentimental drama between two friends, one is dying of AIDS and the other is re-educated. They quickly form a friendship which is focused around their search to find a cure for AIDS. They don't fight themselves but have to face some bigoted people instead. It also doesn't stray from the fact that yes, the child will die but deals with it gracefully and sentimentally. It's not a wart and all movie.
Drinking Game: Childlike ideas on finding cures ftw!
Bottom Line: Emotionally driven, fantastic performances, especially from Dexter as the ill child and a tightly written story. -
Predictable from the very beginning but worth watching with a box of tissues..or two in my case.
