The only movie Michael Criton ever directed and for good reason. It is horrible, but entertainingly, laughably horrible. Entertaining to watch in a group, but really a stupid and poorly directed movie.

Fun caper movie (but the book was better).

Fun to watch this one again. Not as good as I remembered, yet still very entertaining.

Crichton directs a fabulous period heist thriller.

As far as heist films go, The Great Train Robbery is an enjoyable romp. While it may not be the most memorable heist film, The Great Train Robbery has enough comedy and action to make it a decent way to kill a few hours.
