    Shockingly unwatchable. The only things saving this from a half-star rating are the Selma Blair scenes which are mostly okay. Because she's the best part of the movie, she's not in it very much.

    There are a few shots with some cool fog and lighting effects, but they never last long and they're never used to build suspense. Entirely disappointing and not even bad in an enjoyably funny way.

    There's also a weirdly extended "love scene" in a shower which is an embarrassment to love scenes.

    It's just one long metaphor for that smelly stoner you knew in highschool who wouldn't shut the fuck up about how awesome Jerry Garcia was. About as entertaining/fun to be around as well.

    War das Original von John Carpenter ein Film mit Gänsehautatmosphäre kann das Remake von Rupert Wainwright nicht überzeugen. Die Hauptdarsteller schaffen es nicht die Sympathien der Zuschauer zu gewinnen und die Effekte sorgen kaum für Angst bei den Zuschauern. Kurz gesagt ist “The Fog – Nebel des Grauens” ein nicht weiter nennenswertes Film.

    Dabei hat zuletzt das Remake von “Texas Chainsaw Massacre” gezeigt, dass die Wiederbelebung alter Horrorklassiker funktionieren kann. Vielleicht hätte sich Rupert Wainwright sich sowohl das Original von Tobe Hooper als auch das Remake einmal genauer ansehen sollen um eine Idee davon zu bekommen wie man so etwas angeht.

    Wie weiter oben erwähnt sind es vor allem die Schauspieler und die Effekt, die “The Fog- Nebel des Grauens”…

    One of the worst movies I've ever seen. The CGI is horrible. There's no atmosphere or creepiness to be found. Complete garbage.
