A brother and sister move in with old family neighbours following the death of their parents only to find out their new guardians aren't all that they seem. A moderate, if overly-long, thriller which feels a bit like a tv movie with a bigger budget.
-
So predictable and it gets worse and worse with every minute.
-
A below average thriller, with a wooden performance from Sobieski in the lead role and a lack of actual thrills.

I'll watch anything with Stellan! Overall an okay movie, I was expecting a bit more from it though.

Recht solide Psychothriller-Kost, muss ja zugeben, dass ich den im TV, ab und an, ganz gerne wieder gucke.

Not sure how I missed this in 2001, as it's not a bad little movie. Has you screaming at the TV about how dumb they are and then, your caught with your pants down being a audience member, sucked in by the director... nice. Plenty of twists and they come nice and early, long before twists usually do. Nice. Some shite acting, made up for by some very cool ideas. Leelee Sobieski is wicked. A step down for Diane Lane though.
