The Good, The Bad and The Weird follows a bounty hunter, a hitman and a thief on their quest to find a secret treasure.
There's action non-stop and some really funny scenes on this crazy film. The characters are awesome, the hitman is a bad guy with a lot of style, the bounty hunter is a really cool lone ranger and the thief is really crazy.
The action scenes are awesome and entertaining and the plot is also interesting. For a 2 hour movie it has a really good pace.
If you want to have a good time this is definitely the right choice.

I wanted to watch this movie a second time, immediately after it ended. Pure cinematic entertainment. I think the proper phrase is, "a rollicking good time". I found it to be a genuinely funny, earnest homage to the spaghetti western (even seeing it referred to as a "kimchi western").
Aside from just being a lot of fun, the settings and cinematography are great, the score is perfect, and I really loved The Bad and The Weird (I'm not sure I ever really felt like I got to know The Good very well, but minor complaint).

The Good, the Bad, the Weird is complete entertainment from beginning to end. Writer/director Kim Ji-woon yet again knocks it out of the park, only this time he takes a much more lighthearted approach than his usual fare. This benefits the movie greatly and results in one of the most fun experiences in recent memory.
An all-star cast is brought in for this one, including Song Kang-ho (The Host, Thirst) as the Weird, and frequent Ji-woon collaborator Lee Byung-hun (A Bittersweet Life, I Saw the Devil) as the Bad. Both actors stand out with their performances and successfully create memorable characters. Jung Woo-sung was also surprisingly able to hold his own as the Good, who prior to the film I…

A rambunctious, rip-roarin', rootin'-tootin' romp riddled with riotous action scenes, really rad choreography, and rowdy roughriders. Mmm mmm mmm. Alliteration.
But srsly, fuck yeah. This movie is pure entertainment. There's no deeper message or some such bullshit, it's just a movie about a bunch of dudes shooting at each other. And I love it for that.
Rapturous radio-rats rule Ratland with railguns wrought from Ron Weasley's rectum. Really? Really.

Boy, was this fun!
This is a two hour long rollercoaster ride that is paced to perfection. It is directed with creative gusto, has some unbelievable action sequences and is incredibly funny.
Definitely one of the best action/adventure/westerns I've seen in a long, long while. -
I think this is the only movie I've ever watched where two guys get killed by getting a knife kicked into their asses.
Fucking awesome.
Note: Thank you to Ole Holgersen for recommending this.

Brilliant Korean western which pays great homage to Sergio Leone's famous dollar-trilogy. It starts off, not in first gear but in fifth gear, and keeps on accelerating!
The settings and cinematography is just pure joy to watch, and quite frankly just for that alone worthwhile for a immediate re-watch. If you have any love for Sergio Leone you cannot miss this!

What strikes me with all these South-Korean movies I've been watching lately is the amazing score that's in all of them. The Good, The Bad, The Weird is no different, and my point is proven as I listen to the credits roll on the TV behind me right now.
This movie was really fun from start to end, even if it was just a tad too long. Amazing fight sequences with great effects, a nice and simple plot (its basically a bunch of guys hunting a map) and awesome characters.
Now, I didn't feel we got to know each of the characters very much, but that doesn't really matter in a film like this, I think. It worked for The…
