Saffron Burrows plays a woman who’s been diagnosed with a terminal disease, giving her only a few months to live. She also loses her job and relationship and decides if she’s going to die, she buys a loft and fills it with fancy items including an electric guitar that she decides to learn , living off her credit card that she doesn’t intend to pay back.
Really enjoyed this as it was engaging and Burrows was excellent in her role. Paz de La Huerta costars.

The elements for a good movie are almost there; the script has a good premise and many well written scenes, the actors aren't terrible, the director knows where to put a camera. Somehow it just can't do any better than be a boring and predictable film.
For a film about a dying woman who loses her job and boyfriend, this was a surprisingly upbeat film as Saffron Burrows decides she's going to live out her final months on her own terms. Really strong leading performance by Burrows, and good likable support from Isaach de Bankole and Paz de la Huerta cover over the fact that it's not a very deep film, and some of the plotting is a bit suspect.
One not many people seem to have heard of which is a shame because it's pretty good.
I saw this movie randomly on tv. It caught my attention the first scene followed by the drama. It made me more curious about what’s gonna happen next? If you haven’t seen it yet please don’t continue reading! Her life took a new direction after she realized it was almost over! She was doing things she wasn’t interested in! Facing death awoke her and made her see a new reality beyond the paradigms we all have planted in our head since we’re kids.
This movie is like a little dark secret fantasy that some people will have in their minds at some point of growing up! The total freedom of your responsibilities, living the rest of your life with no rules or social or religious obligations, living the days like literally there is no tomorrow.
