Eugene Jarecki's captivating new project is one of the most important, must-see documentaries to emerge over the last year. Of the seemingly hundreds of docs being made in today's film world, I really only find a handful that combine timeliness, intelligence, and class within its filmmaking team. Jarecki has been doing this for a long time, and he's at a point in his career that he can make a doc like The House I Live In in the best manner possible.
