Chaos unfolds as Tom is roped into being a pallbearer (and delivering the eulogy!) by the mother of a recently deceased "friend" from high school that he just can't remember. In the meantime, an unrequited love from high school (NOT the dead guy's girlfriend) reappears in his life.
with a weird sense of humor this film blends melancholic feelings with not-that-deep thoughts on life's meaning somehow effortlessly.
Indelibly sad with a touch of honesty, this is a forgotten film with a lot of heart.
An entire cast that normally I wouldn't care about that somehow all click perfectly. Touching story of growing up and the fear of being forgotten.
Definitely not the laugh out loud comedy most of the marketing would have you believe.
