I'll start by saying that Garry Marshall is one of the best directors of romantic comedy movies ever. He is extremely competent. His films are always so fun and full of the best choices. Nothing is overdone. The comedy is well balanced without many bad words, which often can kill a movie and makes it much less funny. After all, romantic comedy movies are made to be watched with family. I like to watch movies with my parents and we always had fun watching this one.

Yyyyeah. I'm not sure how I came to watch the whole of this movie, to be honest. It just happened to come on TV whilst I was doing a bit of writing on the laptop. I'm sure at more than one point I picked up the remote control in an effort to turn it over, but somehow it stayed on the screen for the duration. I should've learnt my lesson from a few years back. I ended up watching High School Musical in exactly the same way.
