You're not allowed to put robbie sheehan and dev patel in the same movie and expect me not to hit that Die
this was kind of cute! all the anorexia talk was funny asf. movies either pathologize it, make it super corny, or both. take a shot every time you’ve heard “why don’t you just eat?” -“it’s not that simple 😪” since Skins aired. anyway, this was a serviceable enough movie. whole cast is sexy! honestly sucks that marie’s only development was her being bulimic and almost fucking dying💀💀💀 if my lifelong character arc was fucking in the woods American Honey style and having comorbid mental illnesses, i’d be halfway through my development checklist! it’s all fun and games til the rexie ruins beach day :/ i really didn’t give two shits about the subplot with bootleg amy sedaris and robert sheehan’s…
it has its problems but the performances are incredible and the hand holding scene was fucking beautiful
they could have at least hired someone with actual tourette’s to write the lines for vincent, or someone who doesn’t make offensive jokes about the mental illnesses, or at least someone who doesn’t add an unnecessary romance into the story
Robert Sheehan and Dev Patel hold hands, yet the main focus is the hetero relationship. I think not
I liked it untill I heard a dialogue where the white guy says to Dev Patel : ' You terrorist, asshole' And they laugh it off!
Why is the Asian guy always a terrorist?
Suck my Dick Hollywood.
