I really appreciate the way the film is deliberate in its setting and pace, and the commentary it has on how salesmen have been masking themselves as friends when they are, ultimately, not. The themes of commerce, family, identity and purpose are all intertwined in an eloquent way. Gilbert Sicotte is in fine form.
