This review reportedly contains spoilers. I can handle the truth.

Definitely a step down from the original.

A step down from the first, but still warm and amusing.

Week of Christmas - Film 8
letterboxd.com/sublevel4/list/week-of-christmas/Tim Allen continues in the same vein, however this film deals more with Christmas and a lot less with the father-son relationship. It is still primarily for kids but adults shouldn't mind watching it once either. David Krumholtz even seems to be enjoying himself more than in the original.
Favourite bit: Comet farting after eating WAY too much candy.

A fun Christmas movie that shares allot of what is so special about Christmas. Some hilarious moments by Allen here. He is definitely the highlight of the whole movie. I also like the relationship between Scott and Newman. It is so Christmasy and sweet. Maybe I am just a sucker for love. But not the best film.

This didn't need to be made.

The Mrs Clause! Brilliant.

A good follow up to the 1994 original with Tim Allen back as the jolly bearded bloke, a nice christmas movie with some funny moments for the whole family to enjoy!

Ah yes... the sequel... its ok..Tim Allen plays Santa pretty good, although the fat face without a beard creeps me out.. Elizabeth Mitchell is very pretty and even after they "fatten" her up still more attractive than any other Mrs. Claus i've ever seen.. You go Santa! I really liked the "toy" Santa clone..Probably the funniest part of movie.. Overall the story of Santa has to get married is cute enough and they could have just went with that...funniest joke…

This is one of my favorite films of all just for one reason only.
And that's Elizabeth Mitchell.
The film, while good in it's own right, lacks the feel of reality the first had. The first felt grounded, real, believable, and even somewhat mysterious. We never knew the previous Santa, we didn't see any exterior shots of the North Pole, save for one, and the score.
This one feels very reflective of Disney's style and appraoch in the early 2000's.…
