I'm a Broken Lizard fan. I feel the need to mention this as outside of Super Troopers, their films seem to be very divisive.
If you are a fan of the troupe, however, I don't see how you wouldn't like this. It has their special blend of goofy, raunchy, and laugh out loud moments littered throughout the entire film. The main members are great, and keep showing their range by again switching up the dynamic of roles from one film to the next.
If you do not care for their films, this certainly will not convert you. Nothing new is on display here really. Just another entry in the (what I feel is) strong lineup of Broken Lizard comedies.

A bad Waiting rip-off which would therefore make it a bad Clerks rip-off. Either way, this is just plain bad all across the boards. Doesn't even attempt to be humorous by any means. Painfully obvious. Annoying. Formless.

Whatever Motherfucker! I love food and really like this film.

If I'm being honest, there's really nothing that will ever top Super Troopers for Broken Lizard (not even Super Troopers 2, which is coming out... at some point?). Their other films are good enough, and The Slammin' Salmon falls into that category. It's rather funny at times, but the script behind it is incredibly tired and predictable. It's the little things that make the film pretty good. I will give some props to Michael Clarke Duncan though, because he was entertaining in his role. But what the fuck is up with Morgan Fairchild's breasts? She's had more plastic surgery than... someone who's had a lot of plastic surgery. Clever, I know.

This made me sadder than Michael Clarke Duncan's untimely death.
I disliked every character in this movie. It wasn't very funny at all. I'm very scared for how bad the next Broken Lizard movie will be.

Decent comedy, better than I thought it would be.

Working at a video store I get the privilege to, if I wish, take home DVDs/Blu-Rays when they come into the store to watch them before they come out the next Tuesday. Usually however its hardly a privilege, the movies I really want to see I'll see in theater anything else is usually something I'm simply not interested in or some crappy direct to DVD crap. (which may or may not star Steven Segal or Cuba Gooding Jr.) Last week I was able to take home the latest offering from Broken Lizard The Slammin' Salmon and taking this home early and watching it was indeed nothing but an absolute privilege that I enjoyed from start to end.
I have always…

Not Broken Lizard's finest. Probably rank this 4th place.
