This australian movie was the first with a lenght superior to 60 minutes. Sadly only 15 minutes remain to this day and some of the scenes are badly damaged.
The plot follows the life of the outlaw Ned Kelly who was executed only twenty-six years before the movie was made.
This movie has a lot of action and the plot is interesting but the condition of the remaning film is not the best, specially the final scenes, when Ned Kelly meets his doom.

This film was 70 minutes long when made, which was then the longest feature film ever, and cost £1000 to make. Sadly only 16 or 17 minutes survive, and some of that is badly damaged. It's still worth watching though, to see the story of Ned Kelly put onto screen in what appears to be a very well-composed film which must have been very exciting to see.
