The Taint
2010 Directed by Drew Bolduc, Dan Nelson
Synopsis
The water is tainted. The Taint poisons the minds of men. It turns them into raging misogynists: monsters who want nothing more than to crush women's heads with rocks (or other objects). When society is transformed into a land of sadistic violence and horrible brutality, it is up to Phil O'Ginny and his hot friend, Misandra, to combat the horrible evil that is The Taint. Can they survive a world brimming with castration and endless head crushing?!

I dare you to find a movie that's more ri-DICK-ulous.

WHOLLY SHIT THEY MADE A MOVIE ABOUT THE GLORIOUS ROAD BETWEEN OUR ASSHOLES AND OUR YUMYUMS!
-
A ridiculously funny and outlandish satire on the male psyche. You'll either be offended, grossed out, or super amused.
-
I finally got my blu-ray Troma copy this week. Rewatching it solidified my stance that this is one of the most original, singular, hilarious, and subversive films of the last decade, if not ever. I fucking love The Taint.

Consistently inventive gore effects. Fitfully interesting (for lack of a better word) rest of movie.

I watched this film again, to enjoy the commentary tracks.
Just thought I'd say that the commentaries are fun.

I watched this on a Blu-Ray release on the Troma label. I think it is a perfect example of a Troma release, which should be sufficient information for other viewers to decide if they want to see it or not. If you and a group of friends are in the mood for a Troma release, then you are in the mood for this film.

Bullshit. Tons of dicks, bloody kills and wigs, but not a single taint in the entire movie.

If you are aiming for Grade-Z Cinema, you may as well go all the way. The Tarnished is essentially a super irony laced zombie film with one major difference. The power of the penis.
The extreme irony does lead to some detachment from the characters and it probably peaks a little early, but the energy the film has is endless.
The Reverence: A first world problem involving plastic coat hangers and a change of glasses is beaten by a montage of exploding penises.
