No, it's not an epic, but rather a small film with secret upon secret revealed within a small family. You won't believe some of the the things this family is hiding and dealing with. Most dramas present us with characters and what they would ideally do in traumatic situations or tragedies. Very few depict the real complexities of the human condition in extreme circumstances. This film is one of the few that does and it's not easy to see. It's like an exposed raw nerve.
