The wildest dream is a compelling documentary following the discovery of the missing body of ill fated Everest climber George Mallory by Conrad Anker. Mallory was one of the great pioneers of mountaineering, and went missing on a fatal third attempt to conquer the mountain back in 1926.
Over 75 years later, Ankers discovery casts new light on the legend, and could even suggest that Mallory was in fact the first to conquer the worlds largest and most famous mountain.
This film was exciting, interesting, and unlike many of the documentaries on the topic I have watched as of late uplifting. To see the replication of Mallory's climb by the modern day thrill seekers was good enough, but with Liam Neeson's hypnontic narration and some really in depth historical back ground into the life of Mallory, it gave the film numerous levels of interest.
