Wow. What happened to the promising director who gave us Run Lola Run? This film is a huge pile of testicular rot.

Tykwer is back on form. Intelligent, thoughful and slightly worrying reflection over today's human existence.

Oh, qué bonito es el amor en las ciudades primermundistas. Una pareja comete infidelidad cada quién por su lado, luego se dan cuenta que el objeto de su deseo es el mismo hombre y lo resuelven de un modo práctico y civilizado.

"Drei" o simplemente "3" es de esas peliculas que inspiran a la audiencia a gritar frases de desprecio a la pantalla. La cinta, dirigida por el talentoso Tom Tykwer (quien se hizo famoso con la inventiva "Run, Lola, Run"), nos presenta personajes poco interesantes y egolatras, situaciones completamente inverosimiles y un innecesario abuso de adornos visuales que no le hace ningun favor a la historia.
Las actuaciones no son malas pero "3" se convierte en una farsa sexual al nivel de una telenovela barata disfrazada de "cine de arte". Es una pelicula que quiere hablar sobre la condicion humana y las relaciones pero habla mas sobre el morbo y vision sensacionalista de sus realizadores. Sin duda es una completa decepcion.

Not sure if bisexuality can be this easy, but its an interesting filmed film. Also shows some parts of the city that are just fascinating.

An unusual perspective on love triangles.

Despite my intense admiration for Tom Twyker's work in Run Lola Run and the recent Cloud Atlas, I can't say I enjoyed Three, his take on the threesome. What we have here is the most unrealistic portrayal of a woman and two men all being in love with each other. Watching this film to the end requires patience and a suspension of disbelief. None of the characters are likable at all, which makes the ending really difficult to stomach. I'd say avoid this film, but there's something kind of inventive and original about it, even if I can't fully identify or articulate it.
